Talk about life changing????. This should have been Niccolo's and Maggie's second chance not Antonio's. I'm really shocked at the turn of events in this installment of the series(but that what keeps me coming back). Is Maggie really listening to her heart or her libido???????. I know she feels betrayed by Niccolo' actions,but has she forgotten the reason she turned to Niccolo in the first place was because of Antonio's infidelity. Maggie,Maggie where are your scruples, have you forgotten that you're a married woman? Get your head on straight in volume eight. Again I really really wanted to LOVE this book...but I ended up more in just "really like bland"...and I think it had to do with some of the plot twists that seemed way too over-the-top and not REALISTIC...and with a weak plot. It is obvious that the writer is very talent however there is something lacking.The story explained the teeming struggle for revenge and control between the Antonio group and others however the plot remained spotty.
First, Nick was very hostile and disrespectful toward his mother and appeared childish as well as turned out an alcoholic too.
Maggie who was paranoid and needed turn into a weakly arrogant slut who eluded a trifling attitude toward her own life and kids. She quickly takes Antonio back after he had cheated on her and she is upset with Niccolo because he left her. REALLY!!! enough already.
I have read the whole series thus far, and have enjoyed every book! I feel that book #7 has been the most heart wrenching thus far. It really drives the importance of family over anything else. With all that Antonio and Niccolo have put Maggie and the family thru, it's a wonder that Nick has not killed one of them so far! How long before the saga continues? I'll be waiting! Thanks -you April for this series!
Love it. Not sure how I want the series to end, I got the first book free and she had ever since. Family, love and hot @#$.... Worth your time and money.
This last book is a great read. I never want it to end. I am ready for another book to finish the story. These books all seven will be read again and again they are this awesome
Wow wow this book was so good! I could not put it down! Maggie has made her decision to keep her family together and make it work. In addition, Niccolo and Antonio brother bond becomes very strong.
I've never laughed, cried, hated, and LOVED characters like I did in this book. April, you truly shocked me in this book, I don't know what will happen in volume #8, but this book can't be topped.
Maggie finds her REAL true love back in the book, but we watch how Niccolo deals with the reality of his actions. While Antonio and Maggie try to make a new life for themselves and their family, Niccolo is trying to come to terms with his future.
Maybe there is a chance of "family" here???
Volume 7 is my favorite book by far. It explores the reuniting love between Maggie and Antonio. The book truly shows why Maggie was ALWAYS Antonios. Antonio just let Niccolo "borrow" her for awhile until he grew up and realized she was and is his everything. Chapter 5, in the closet, sealed their fate for me. It was very powerful and moved me to tears. I had to reread that part a few times.
Niccolo will always be apart of Maggie's life, they are soulmates. I can't wait to see what April has in store for him. He deserves happiness. He needs to find his way and I hope he does with his crazy family at his side.
This is a spectacular series and if you haven't already, you must start with book 1. This family will take you on the ride of your life and teach you about honor, loyalty and most of all love of family.
Thank you April for bringing Maggie and her two Italian mob studs to life and sharing them with all of us!
