Woooow one of real good book you must buy it
good electronics study but I was looking more amateur radio subject matter in general
This is exceptional value, especially with the review software. I have other, and pricier, teaching books on this subject that cover more subjects in greater depth. But this is useful, not just for beginners, but to offer a different perspective on the material for more advanced students.
If you understand the first 3 pages of this book then you don't need it. If you don't, then you won't learn it here. The book starts with an assumption that the reader has a sufficient knowledge to make the book useless.
The book's grammar is sometimes unusual. The larger issue was trying to get the software that came with it. I gace up after several attempts to download and use it. The process is awkward and not at all common. There is a much easier way to provide the software (as is done by gazillions of other software makers), but this company relies on a completely distinct approach. Buy the book. Good luck with the software.
The author is obviously very knowledgeable but the text assumes the reader possesses a great deal of that knowledge. It is strictly technical and therefore perfectly dry, but some readers may very well appreciate that. No fluff, gets right to the point then moves on. I'm a new ham so perhaps I can revisit this work down the road after I've built my knowledge base quite a bit.
