I've read this entire series out of order so it's interesting to finally get the entire story about characters you've been reading about already!
Eliza has a big secret to keep and never planned on telling anyone. She's happy in her life and keeps to herself outside of her close circle of friends. However, she and Carter, whom she enjoys antagonizing whenever she can, may end up bring more than friends.
Carter, who is running for office in California, knows Eliza's secret and wants nothing more then to keep her safe. In order to do that, he suggests a marriage of convenience and practicality.
As you can imagine, hilarity and drama ensue along with some seriously hot scenes between Eliza and Carter which all adds up to make for a wonderful read. I think I'm on track now, so off to read the rest of the series in order!

Loved MARRIED BY MONDAY! This second book in Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series was even better than Wife by Wednesday.

I'll just jump in with, I loved Carter, the hero in MbM, who Eliza's best friend Samantha nicknamed "Hollywood" because of his devastating, sexy, all-american, surfer boy, good looks. He's also thoughtful, loyal, honorable, sexy, and adorable with his pouting unrequited love for Eliza. In other words, totally swoon-worthy. Even though Carter convinced Eliza to marry him for her protection and to salvage his career it's obvious from the start he's got it bad for her. But if selling her in a marriage of convenience is what it takes to get his woman it's what he'll do. He does want to keep her safe, but mostly he just wants her.

Eliza, the heroine in this story has been keeping a whopper of a secret from her friends. One night of introducing Blake's sheltered sister Gwen to the thrills of a Texas honky-tonk bar starts an avalanche of media frenzy that brings Eliza into the limelight. The resulting exposure forces her to either come clean or leave her family of friends behind to run from her past once again.

Although there was danger and intrigue throughout this story the personalities of Ms. Bybee's characters made it seem more like an adventure. The story never lost it's fun or it's romance. The dialogue was snappy, the characters are real and relatable, the plot flows smoothly and the storyline kept me drawn in. There were humorous moments, hold your breath moments, sad moments and some very sexy loving moments. All-in-all a very well-rounded and enjoyable read. I rate this story with 5 stars. Did I mention I loved it?
Eliza is Samantha's best friend and business partner. While planning a wedding for Sam, she and Sam's sister in law Gwen go to a bar. What was supposed to be a fun night out ended up going bad. When someone tried to take advantage of Gwen and Eliza, Blake's best friend Carter and his body guard Neil step in. Unfortunately for Carter who is running for Governor someone caught the fight on camera. Now he will do what it takes, including a marriage of convenience to fix it. Who better to marry than Eliza. It's certainly no hardship for him as he wants her anyways.

Eliza knows what helping Carter fix this problem will do. She feels that he is in this situation because of her so she will do what she can to help him. She does not want to marry Carter but when a secret she has been guarding for years comes to light when she goes in the public eye to try and clear his name she may have no choice. Now she is in danger and marrying Carter may be the only way for her to be safe.

My Opinion I started this book immediately after I read the first one. I just have to say that this is an amazing series. I LOVED this book as much as I loved the first one. These books are so fun to read. You have your Alpha male who wants to love and protect the woman at all costs and the smart mouthed, independent woman that they fall in love with that doesn't take his crap. I really liked Carter and Eliza together. I thought that they were perfectly matched. I both amazingly unselfish if stupid for her to put herself in danger to help clear his name. I felt that this book was well written and filled with great characters that you will fall in love with. I could not put this book down. The series is very addictive as you get to know the characters that will be in the next book and you can't wait to find out what happens in their story. I highly recommend reading!

I am absolutely loving this series. Each book is a different main character but they are all friends and intricate parts in the storyline. This story had so many different twists and turns in it. I loved the dynamics of the main couple Eliza and Carter. Eliza was the best friend and partner of Sam the original owner of Alliance which is a company that she had set up to bring together high profile couples into a marriage of convenience for a predetermined set of time and for a set goal for the outcome of the marriage although love certainly finds a way into the mix for the good. Carter was best friend to Blake the Dutch who married Sam. What started as a marriage to put out a fire that occurred when Eliza and Gwen went to a honky tonk bar. Eliza felt so guilty for what occurred that almost derailed Carter's campaign for Governor. But in order to help his campaign could possibly put Eliza in jeopardy because there is secrets in her past that could possibly be life threatening. But their relationship proved that love could save one and all and their marriage was one that was destined to happen. I highly recommend this series to anyone that is a sucker for true love. Mrs. Bybee has a uncanny way of telling a story and capturing the readers imagination and holding them hostage. Bravo for having the talent of writing a truly amazing story.
